Finally, an Electro-Harmonix version of the EL84 power tube. These draw more current than most tubes of this type, which is similar to the Tesla version. Expect them to take the heat in AC30 amps.
Note:
These tubes have a slightly larger diameter than other EL84 tubes so they can not be used in Marshall DSL201 and DSL401 amplifiers, or reissue Vox AC15 amps.
Close reproduction of NOS EL84. Electro-Harmonix version is contructed to withstand the heat better. Nice, warm tone in guitar amps, especially on cathode biased amps. Note that EL84EH tends to bias 'hot' and may not work well in fixed bias amps like Peavey Classic 30.
