The JJ / Tesla E88CC's are a great alternative to ECC88, 6922 and 6DJ8's for preamplifiers.

Developed as a driver tube for 300B, ECC99 delivers excellent sonic on its own with very strong drive capability. It can be used in place of 12BH7 and 12AU7.

The JJ 7591-S is a high quality option for both guitar and home audio amps. It's loaded with warm tone and is physically very similar to NOS 7591 tubes so installation is a breeze.

It is a dependable, high mu double triode with reduced gain and clearer, more articulated tone than a higher gain ECC83. Full and chimey mids, a tight bottom end and greatly reduced hum and noise characterize this tube. Highly recommended.
